In the course of its raid on criminal hideouts, the Gombe State Police Command has taken no fewer than 31 suspects into custody.
In a statement on Thursday, the Gombe Divisional Police headquarters’ Patrol 999 team revealed that they had arrested people during a raid on community hotspots. ASP Mahid Abubakar, the public relations officer, made this announcement.I
n essence, he explained, the Crackdown on Black Spots led to the arrests and the seizure of hard drugs suspected of being used.
In an attempt to protect public safety and stop illegal activity, he said, “the team, led by diligent officers, apprehended nine individuals suspected of being involved in illegal drug-related activities at approximately 10:00 PM.”
