A childhood friend of the late singer Ileriouluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, Owodunni Ibrahim, aka Primeboy, has filed a police petition against the deceased’s widow, Wunmi, alleging false accusations and threats to her life.
Concerns about the circumstances surrounding the late singer Mohbad’s death and the paternity of his son Liam have been raised by the public.
Mohbad was 27 years old.Afeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, owned Marlian Records, where Mohbad was signed.
Following Mohbad’s passing, Marley and well-known Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, were detained and questioned by the Lagos State Police Command to provide details of their knowledge of Mohbad’s demise. On October 4, 2023, Primeboy was also listed as wanted by the state police command; two days later, he turned himself in.
On March 12, Primeboy and one Ayobami Fisayo, also known as Spending, paid a visit to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.
According to Benjamin Hundeyin, the state police public relations officer, one of the bail requirements that were given to him during Mohbad’s case was that “he would come to the State CID every Tuesday to sign just to keep an eye on him so that he would not run away.
“The afro singer was reportedly called for questioning over claims of character slander and other charges mentioned in a previous petition submitted by Wunmi, according to Hundeyin at the time.
In a statement posted on his Instagram account on Friday, Primeboy urged Wunmi to come forward and disclose the full circumstances surrounding her late husband’s passing.”I told you to stop mentioning my name,” he wrote, sharing the petition on Instagram. You continued. It is now time to reveal to the world the information you claimed to be aware of regarding what killed your boyfriend, Mohbad.
